Interfor Castlegar Division

International Forest Products (Interfor) purchased the Pope and Talbot Sawmill in Castlegar in 2010 after P&T closed the mill indefinitely in 2008. The mill was restarted in late 2010 and now employs 152 USW employees. Interfor has bargained independently with the USW in the past however has recently joined the IFLRA in preparation for 2018 Bargaining.
